Central Armed Forces Officers Welfare Organisation (CAFOWO)

The Central Armed Forces Officers Welfare Organisation (CAFOWO) is a non-government, non-profit and social welfare organisation established on 24 December 2024 in Jalandhar, Punjab, with the purpose of catering to the interests of people and communities in distress. We work selflessly in the field of disability and rehabilitation, nature conservation, disaster management and welfare for Armed, paramilitary and police personnel. What we do is guided by precious principles of dignity, empathy, equality and constructive support. By engaging with the communities at the grassroots, our interaction with beneficiaries and stakeholders helps us serve society better.

Working Where Support Matters Most

From disability rehabilitation to supporting people in service, we put our unified efforts into the areas where care, action and community support can make a lasting difference.

Disability Rehabilitation

We collaborate with communities, families, government agencies, and institutions to empower persons with disabilities through inclusion, rehabilitation, advocacy, and capacity building.

Disaster Management

We work closely with local authorities, volunteers, and disaster-response agencies to save lives, reduce vulnerability, and build resilient communities by providing rapid response.

Armed, Paramilitary & Police Personnel Welfare

We provide complete support to the serving and retired defence, paramilitary, and police personnel and their families. We take initiatives to recognise their service and strengthen their well-being.

Nature Conservation

We hold the opinion that nurturing nature is vital for forming healthy communities. Our programs promote planting trees, saving water, and increasing awareness about our environment.

Every person has a story. Every person deserves the chance to move forward.

A little support can restore a lot of hope, and every ray of hope paves the way for a brighter future. Welcoming volunteers to join us in this beautiful journey of humanity and generosity!
